What could the first expansion be?
When asking about bikes, bike lanes, skaters, trams and above-ground metros, Hallikainen said that “Above-ground metros is very unlikely to happen. I haven’t been thinking
about skate parks, but it sounds like fun. I wonder what our animator
would come up with – probably something crazy.“

Amusement parks on the other hand: “I’m a huge fan of Theme Park, but it would be
difficult to make in the game. As a unique building then sure, but I
think people would want to actually build them, so it’s very unlikely to
Mariina hopes that people can enjoy Skylines at least couple of years,
because they want to add so much stuff to the game before making a
sequel. A sequel is probably coming when it doesn’t make any sense to
continue working on Cities: Skylines, due to technical issues.
